Consequences of refusing to work for religious reasons
Article 4 paragraph 1 of the Constitution guarantees "the freedom of faith, of conscience and freedom of religious beliefs are inviolable." It can then justify a termination of employment contract, if an employee relies on this belief and refuse to the transfer of the employer to perform a certain activity? Such a situation had to decide the Federal Labor Court (BAG, Judgement of 24.2.2011 - 2 AZR 636/09, Press Release No. 16/11). It was about the refusal by a devout Muslim in the beverage department of a retail market to deal with alcohol. He was employed by the employer since 1994 and as from 2003 "Download Help" action. In February 2008 he refused to work in the beverage department, because his faith forbade him any involvement in the distribution of alcoholic beverages. The employer then spoke of a proper termination of the employment contract.
This termination reversed the Federal Labour Court and remanded the case for further fact-finding to the National Labour Court. Basically, be lawful under the decision of the Second Senate of termination. The employee has a contract with the employer, who undertakes to fulfill the tasks entrusted to it. If he works as a shop assistance, he must expect that he also receive tasks assigned which will require the use of alcohol. the employee then refuses for religious reasons to perform this task, he must inform the employer and explain exactly what work prohibits him his faith. The employer is then held to consider whether he is for the employee to another job opportunity, with the bill for religious reasons. Hack the square is the meeting of the Benelux family under one roof at this year's Summer Camp CCC. The Hague is about 180 km from Ghent, is not just so around the corner, but still doable. The meeting was a bit chaotic, but in the end was quite a bit under way. Once newline over, I'll hang me in there sometimes more.
Our friends from the north are known, they do all sorts of tinkering with IKEA Lack tables, such as the LackRack and one of these crafts, I will copy for newline, namely a lectern from 3 tables. The material that I've bought if it is zusammengedengelt, I show you some pictures.

Brussels is an international city that the Flemish, the Belgian government and the EU is home. This of course brings all sorts of young, progressive ideas to Brussels. The town is also the scene of record-winning government negotiations, the problems in our democracies and to show, especially here in Belgium. This mixture has a talk series, " hack democracy is "formed. This place monthly in beta group Coworking Space place and introduces new approaches for democracy in the 21st century.'s This is also about the use of technology and how it can help.

On Thursday it was ready and Belgium, as already announced the world record in "government form" fetched. The height of cynicism (for me as an observer) was when it was played at midnight Queen's "We Are The Champions," followed by a solemn trophy handover by a delegation from Iraq, the previous record holder. Something I could not imagine in Germany, at least not in the sometimes supercooled north. Here are some impressions of the evening.

The design, which I've used so far, I've successfully shot yesterday, so you have to make do at the moment with the current "fast-time-pressed" look. Sorry for the interruption, but there are days where should to better serve no keyboard ... Maybe not so bad this time to take the opportunity here to ride and a lighter, less texts overloaded design.

As you all know, we have here in Ghent last year founded a Hacker Space and the end of March is already a year old. Children, how time flies ...
On this occasion we organized a two-day mini conference , with talks, workshops, beer, Club-Mate and a lot of fun.
see here her the poster that graphically talented members have created and which we distribute just anywhere in Ghent, Brussels, Antwerp and in Benelux in general.
500 items of which we can print in A2 and hope to the masses to bring us. Seriously: On the one hand, we want us and celebrate the success of the Space, on the other hand, we want to appeal to new people who have never been here. Let's wait how this develops. Up to now, even some cool talks were announced. We hope that the program will appeal to many people as possible.
